As a Digital Designer, you will play a key role in both the development and marketing teams, working closely with the Marketing Manager.

ROLE OVERVIEW

You’ll be supporting the Marketing Manager in the following areas:

  • Working with key stakeholders to produce and implement designs for the company website and marketing materials, enhancing and promoting our brand and culture.
  • Providing UI/UX experience to help enhance the company website.
  • Working with the development team to produce and implement designs and creative ideas for our core product portfolio and new product development projects.
  • Working with the project management and development team, offering creative support and designs for client specific system enhancements.
  • Brainstorming, designing and iterating designs for branding materials and external communications, including our digital newsletter.
  • Working with the Marketing Manager to brainstorm and create video animations and content for brand and product campaigns.
  • Attending networking and careers events on behalf of the company, to maintain community engagement.

ABOUT YOU

The right candidate will;

  • Present a design portfolio showcasing your work and relevant experience as part of the selection process.
  • Have experience in UX/UI, brand creation, and website design. Previous experience working with WordPress is beneficial.
  • Have experience in graphic design and illustration, with skills in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Have strong knowledge of Adobe Premier Pro, and experience in video editing and motion design.
  • Have knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and PHP. This is beneficial and not required.
  • Be able to generate ideas and brainstorm effectively, offering a variety of concepts and designs for consideration, review and iteration.
  • Have a strong sense of creativity and attention to detail and be able to apply this when designing, brainstorming and executing concepts.
  • Be able to communicate effectively, and be able to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Be able to work to deadlines, prioritising your workload to ensure work is completed efficiently.
  • Be passionate about learning and development, taking opportunities to improve and refine your skills, whilst offering mentorship to your peers and co-workers. Be trustworthy and moral, and demonstrate a good work ethic and personal ambition.
