All employees are auto-enrolled into our pension scheme and contribute the minimum amounts as specified by the Government. We agree to match your contributions up to 5% of your annual salary, exceeding the Government guidelines. Your pension contribution will be taken automatically out of your salary.
Every year Koderly distributes 25% of the annual net profit after tax to our employees, as required by the shareholders’ agreement. The profit share scheme is paid to all employees who contribute to the company during the financial year in proportion with your earnings in that year. This means that you are rewarded directly for your effort and hard work.
We insure our employees so that they continue to get a payment even when off sick. The policy pays out 75% of your gross salary less a deduction for the benefits that you may be eligible to receive directly from the government, and allows us to continue paying a proportion of your salary for up to two years whilst you remain off work sick. The policy only kicks in after a few months, so we will continue to pay your contractual sick pay and statutory sick pay to that point.
Some illnesses are more difficult to deal with than others. We insure employees against critical illnesses, which pays out your annual salary in the event you are diagnosed with one of the critical illnesses as noted in the policy.
After six months, the nominated beneficiary of any employee receives a payment equivalent to one year’s salary in the event an employee dies whilst under our employment. This can go a long way to helping your family to cover funeral expenses and other costs.
We offer our employees the option to join our private healthcare scheme. A monthly premium is deducted from net pay, so you never have to worry about accidentally missing a payment.
Prevention is far better than a cure, which is why we have the Paycare scheme to help ensure you enjoy the best possible physical, mental and financial health. The Paycare scheme has a large number of benefits available created with you in mind including, but not limited to;

Have the autonomy to plan your own hours, as long as you make the minimum requirement of 35 hours per week. Our flexible working policy is second to none, helping you achieve that important work-life balance. You’re provided with Required Hours shifts during the week, and you can work the other hours whenever suits you, as long as it’s between 7am-9pm on weekdays (unless you’re working a short day!).
Saving the planet, one commute at a time. Under the scheme, we will purchase a bike on your behalf from our partner, which you will pay for over the course of the year through deduction from net pay. While you’re paying us back, you don’t pay National Insurance or tax on the payments, saving you a substantial amount of money!
Personal Attack Alarm
Koder.ly will provide one free personal attack alarm per employee, on request.
Everyone working at Koder.ly gets at least 21 days holiday per year, on top of the 8 statutory bank holidays. Holiday allowance renews on the anniversary of your start date, and the allowance increases by one day for each completed year of service, up to a maximum of 25 days.
Training & Development
Training which is deemed relevant to your role, or that the company requests you to attend will be fully covered and courses unrelated to work are negotiable. It is up to each employee to choose the training they wish to receive, so be proactive!
In addition to our lively office culture, we enjoy hosting unofficial events and there is something for everyone. Staff outings are a great way for employees to get better acquainted and enjoy some time outside of the office. We also host 3-4 official events each year, including our legendary Christmas party!
It’s can be nice to step away from the computer screen and recharge your batteries in a peaceful environment. Tucked away between the kitchen and break-out area and away from the noise, you are provided with a calming environment where you can read, colour or draw while surrounded by lush tropical plants and relaxing mood lighting.
In the break-out area we have games consoles, board games, table football and a pool table. They are available for personal use during breaks and before/after working hours. From time to time we put on tournaments which everyone is invited to compete in. Great prizes and trophies are up for grabs too!
Help yourself to some breakfast from the upstairs kitchen or have a packet of crisps or fruit if you get peckish throughout the day. The company also purchases a bulk stash of cans, flavoured waters, and fruit juices that are stored in the fridges. All provided free of charge.
